Mainstream Media Lies

Welcome to the 21st century of mainstream media lies where every day presents an opportunity to sell a story or manufacture a crisis.

On August 26th, 2011, hurricane Irene hit the Eastern Seaboard. Curiously enough, the panic that ensued was not caused by Irene, but rather, by the mainstream media’s hype of the storm.

Archbishop Charles Chaput

And the crowds proclaimed, “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the LORD. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest.

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” He said in reply, “I tell you, if they keep silent, the stones will cry out!

Democrats These Days

What in the heck is going on in the minds of Democrats these days?

You would think that the 2010 mid-term election results would have been a sign that people are not happy with the way the Democrats have steered this country. From the refusal to admit the Affordable Health Care Act of 2009 is CRAP that needs repealed, to the ongoing racial and economic warfare that the Party continually promotes; less and less Americans are buying what the Democratic party has to sell.

The Wonders Of The Human Brain

There are few things in the universe that are as complex and wondrous as the human brain.  This single organ controls the human body’s autonomic systems, chemical balances, and emotional responses. It is responsible for thought pattern, rationalization, logic, reason, and massive amounts of data storage that is accessible in a matter of seconds or continually analyzed for years on end. The human brain is aware that it exists, as an organ, inside of the human body – yet, still manages to see itself as an individual personality; creating its own beliefs, opinions, and realities based on the information it receives.

The studies of neurology, psychiatry, and psychology are extremely intriguing, specifically, because these subjects allow the human brain to study itself.

  • Neurology is the study of the brain’s anatomy, functions, and nervous system.
  • Psychiatry studies the chemical states that cause emotional distress, abnormal behavior, and mental illness.
  • Psychology is the scientific study of the mind, especially in matters of cause and effect.

A Push For The Bankruptcy Of The United States

In the wake of the Standard & Poor’s downgrade of the United States credit rating, the Federal Reserve announced today that quantitative easing (part 3) would not take place. Rather, Ben Bernanke – chairman of the Federal Reserve, announced that interest rates would stay at near 0% levels for the next two years. While this may have lit a fire under Wall street’s buttocks, it  dropped the long term value of the U.S. dollar down 4.5%, or about 72¢ against the Swiss franc.

The federal government, for their part have already borrowed 60% of the money granted to them in the $2.4 trillion debt ceiling package and Senator Harry Reid has picked Max Baucus, John Kerry, and Patty Murray while Senator Mitch McConnell has picked Jon Kyl, Pat Toomey, and Rob Portman to bypass Congress forming a “bipartisan SUPER committee” to decide the collective financial fate of this nation.

Is this a push for the bankruptcy of the United States?

Standard And Poor Downgrades United States

In an unprecedented move, Standard and Poor’s credit rating agency downgraded the United States coveted AAA status to AA+ due to two major factors:

  1. “We lowered our long-term rating on the U.S. because we believe that the prolonged controversy over raising the statutory debt ceiling and the related fiscal policy debate indicate that further near-term progress containing the growth in public spending, especially on entitlements, or on reaching an agreement on raising revenues is less likely than we previously assumed and will remain a contentious and fitful process.”
  2. “We also believe that the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the Administration agreed to this week falls short of the amount that we believe is necessary to stabilize the general government debt burden by the middle of the decade.”

This indicates that Standard and Poor’s believes that Congress, in it’s current form, will be unable to reach an agreement, in the short term, to deal with the national debt.

The big question on everyone’s mind is, is this the fault of Republicans, Democrats, or the TEA party?

Lugar And Pence No Longer Acceptable For Indiana

Dear Representative Mike Pence and Senator Richard Lugar,

I am writing to inform you that you have both lost my support for any political undertaking you attempt in the future because your voting records are no longer acceptable.

This is not meant to disrespect your opinion or your stance on any one particular issue. This is meant to inform you that neither of you are representing my family or myself on issues that we believe are of the utmost importance for the moral fiber and financial outlook of this country.

The Debt Crisis Is Over

After months of watching nonsensical argument, the debt crisis is over.  House Republicans and Senate Democrats finally decided to co-operate, in a bipartisan way, to ensure our financial stability, our credit rating, and our long term outlook as a nation. Both sides dropped the partisan bickering and tackled the issue of the $14.3 trillion debt in a logical and professional manner. You can relax now America, things are going to be fine. Don’t we all wish it were that easy?!?!

Instead, we have witnessed another “dog and pony” shows performed by Congress whenever they are asked to do what is best for this country and it’s future. Senator Reid finds the TEA party “disconcerting” and Vice President, Joe Biden, is calling the TEA party “terrorists”. But let’s not leave out the RINOs in the Senate and Speaker of the House, John Boehner, who demanded those damn TEA party representatives get in their “asses in line”. Or how about the media outlets, who painted the picture that a failure to raise the debt ceiling would result in a national default to our creditors and that the TEA party was using this “hostage” to get it’s way.

Well, the majority of Congress co-operated, the President signed the bill, and the debt crisis is over, right?
