This last election has shown us much more than Republicans sweeping into House of Representative and Governor seats, it’s also shown very distinct differences in the mental attitudes between liberals and conservatives.
I chose these two clips as examples because I felt the reporter asked good questions and allowed both parties involved to speak on the issue.
Below is a classic example of a liberal:
While many of Mr. Wise’s collective assertions are true, his individual conclusions lack merit.
Racists do not come in specific skin colors. In much the same way, attributes such as: wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, and maturity do not necessarily come with age. There is a word for Mr. Wise’s attempts to collectively ‘categorize’ and ‘label’ individuals, it’s called prejudice. This is the very thing that -inspires- what your party ‘claims’ to want to put an end to.
Below is a classic example of a conservative:
Congressman West did not come to the Tea Party, the Tea Party came to Congressman West. He is a true scholar and conducts himself as a Statesman should.
Note that Congressman West does not fit into the liberal categorize and label system. He is a black Republican who ran with Tea Party support. He is an individual with good ideas that can articulate the conservative point of view.
History shows that America’s forefathers were not saints, they owned and sold black people as slaves, married at improper ages, kept mistresses, and fostered illegitimate children, among many other faults. But the Constitution of the United States never expressly forbade that women and blacks could never attain civil or voting rights, society did.
Society demanded that the federal government address slavery, not the Constitution. Therefore, it was amended to specifically mention women, black, and minority civilians. Society demanded that the federal government take steps to ensure States complied to maintain civility and guarantee the rights of ALL it’s citizens (regardless of race or gender). These demands by society fulfill the Constitution, they do not change that “…all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights…” On an individual basis, both conservatives and liberals worked together to get the United States Constitution amended so that, one day, society would be able to look past the color or gender of a person and judge them on their attributes as a person.
That was the past, and this the present.
The modern day liberals fancy themselves as superior in intellect, numbers, and issues to the modern day conservative. They have spent decades pushing government programs such as social security, welfare, Medicare, health services, housing services, financial services, and education that fail to meet standards both financially and in services rendered. The liberal of today cares more about tax payer funded government programs than social justice or the repercussions of creating government dependents. In part, it is because Communists and Socialists have been allowed to use our own media against us.
In contrast, the modern day conservative is found at a grassroots level known as the Tea Party. They want a smaller federal government, to see fiscal responsibility, less taxes, and more incentives for businesses to come to the United States and hire American workers. They have spent decades following a corrupt party and have put the GOP on notice that the Tea Party can, and will (if necessary) replace them one by one. Today’s conservative is preoccupied with politics and watching both Congress and this presidential administration very closely.
The Democratic party has lost it’s way, it seeks to ‘repeal and replace’ the United States Constitution itself. This would truly roll back progress and allow the current government to decide what rights we get and what rights we do not. Usurping the powers, checks, balances, and individual rights guaranteed within the United States Constitution is a dangerous game because if you allow it, you will lose your own freedoms that are already guaranteed by the document. Beware Democrats, you are playing with fire.
The Republican party has, similarly, lost it’s way by constantly reaching across the aisle in order to avoid being singled out as tyrants by the left or the media. They began a game of capitulation that led to many Republican incumbents being ousted in the primaries. We all saw your temper tantrums erupt when your candidates were beaten by Tea Party candidates. Beware Republicans, you are playing with fire.
Conservatives and liberals will never see eye to eye, they should not be expected to unless the will of the people (as a whole) is so strong that they are forced to. However, selling out America for an agenda should NEVER be an option on the table.
